Pareidolia

Daydreaming, staring at clouds, looking at shadows and light. Yin and yang. Juxtaposition. Figures emerge.  A man on the moon, a face, a desert, an archway.  Pareidolia is from the Greek word para which means instead and and eidolon which means shape.  The series explores patterns of light and shadow and are open to interpretation. These pieces include rice paper, cyanotype, acrylic, gesso, and canvas.
